About the event

In this free workshop we will begin by foraging plants in the Duwamish Greenbelt that can be used to make pigment and dye.  After plant collection, we will go to Laura's studio in Georgetown to process the plants and create watercolor pigments.  Participants will get a sample of each batch of paint and a tin to keep them in.

Directions to the foraging location and studio will be sent a few days prior to the event date.  Priority for participation will be given to community members in the Duwamish Valley.  The workshop is appropriate for age 12 (minors accompanied by adults) to adult. Space is limited to 12 participants, so please only sign up if you are committed to attending.

Please email lauracwright.art@gmail.com with any questions.
